Cameroon vs Serbia
- When? Monday 28th November, 10:00 GMT
- Where? Al Janoub Stadium
- Latest Result: Serbia 4-3 Cameroon, June 2010
Cameroon and Serbia last met in an international friendly back in 2010, this game was an absolute goal fest and we’ll be hoping for more of the same this time around.
Both Cameroon and Serbia got off to losing starts in the competition and will therefore have plenty of motivation to take all three points. This game is of utmost importance to both as defeat will likely see one of them crash out.
Serbia will be looking to impose themselves much more than they did against Brazil, they never had a grasp on the game and were unable to sustain possession for long periods of the game. We mark this down to Brazil’s quality rather than Serbia’s lack thereof.
There is large amounts of talent in the Serbian squad, particularly going forward. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is known for being a box-to-box player but expect him to be finding space further forward in this one. Dusan Vlahovic will be training hard to get his fitness up to scratch after injury caused him to be benched on matchday 1.
Cameroon will be looking to cause problems of their own to Serbia. They were right up in contention against Switzerland but were unable to escape with any points. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will be the focal point once again and he’ll be looking to make an impact after a tame performance in his previous outing. We can see him getting on the scoresheet in this one.
Group G Matchday 2 Odds: Our Pick
The two sides will both throw everything they have to secure a victory in this one, but we think neither side will come out with the result they’re after.
- Match Result: Draw and both teams to score: 19/5

Brazil vs Switzerland
- When? Monday 28th November, 16:00 GMT
- Where? Stadium 974
- Latest Result: Brazil 1-1 Switzerland, World Cup 2018
Brazil took a while to get off the blocks in their opener, but after they did, they looked extremely dangerous. As expected. The Brazil squad is star-studded, there are world class players in almost every position. Hence why they are many bettors’ pick to win it all.
A late injury to Neymar will be a cause of concern for Tite but he will sleep well knowing that the rest of his squad has the ability to get out of the group if Neymar is ruled out. Spurs striker Richarlison looked extremely sharp up front and scored the goal of the tournament so far. Expect him to maintain his place in the team.
Casemiro was another standout with an impeccable performance in midfield. He was the heart and soul of Brazil in their opener and was extremely close to scoring. He will be a key man in any success Brazil has in this tournament.
He will be going up against his Premier League rival Granit Xhaka who captains Switzerland. Both players have a similar style and will be battling to take control of the midfield in this game. If Xhaka can assert authority early, his side will have a real chance to cause an upset.
Xherdan Shaqiri and Breel Embolo will pull the strings for the Swiss. They’ll be constantly getting at Brazil’s weakest link, the fullback department. If even 3-4 of the Switzerland team can win their individual battles, they may just have enough to defeat the favourites.
Group G Matchday 2 Odds: Our Pick
Despite the strong start for Switzerland and the quality they have in certain areas, we still view this game as Brazil’s to lose.
They will come at Switzerland’s low block in typical Brazilian fashion. The flair players will make the difference as Brazil secure their second victory.
- Half time/full time: Brazil at 1/1

We can see Brazil asserting their dominance early and winning both halves in a comfortable victory.
