Whilst the official 23-man squads are yet to be announced ahead of EURO 2024 in Germany, we feel that now would be a good time to take a look at the prospective squads for each nation for the upcoming tournament. Read on to find out who will be representing their countries in Germany in June.

FAQs

How many teams will qualify for UEFA Euro 2024?

A total of 24 countries qualify for the 2024 EUROS in Germany. It is the third time this number of teams will play in the tournament, since the decision to have 24 participating countries was initially made before EURO 2016.

When are euro 2024 squads officially announced?

UEFA has not yet confirmed the exact date by which the EURO 2024 squads must be announced.

When is the England squad officially announced?

While their is no official date yet, an announcement can be expected in late May/early June.

How many players are in each Euro 2024 squad?

UEFA has confirmed that each squad must have a total of 23 players. This is a reduction from the 26-man squads in the previous Euros and World Cup. Three players must by goalkeepers, whilst the remaining 20 players are outfield players. There are no specific requirements as to how many defenders, midfielders, and forwards need to be included.
