Formula 1 2022 Season – Guide

F1 2022. The world’s fastest sport will soon start up again. The Formula 1 2022 season will contain more races than ever before, with a total of 23!

As per usual, Formula 1 events will be held across Europe, America, Asia, and Oceania. Find the F1 calendar for 2022 in its entirety further down.

When Does The Formula 1 2022 Season Begin?

The F1 season for 2022 will commence on the 20th of March with the first race of the season being held in Bahrain. However, the pre-season will begin with “pre-season testing” as early as February 23rd in Barcelona, and will then continue two weeks later in Bahrain from March 10th to March 12th.

An Exciting Season Awaits

Last season, Max Verstappen took home his first ever F1 title, whilst Mercedes took home their eighth straight construction title. The majority of last season was dominated by the fierce battle between Verstappen and seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton, with the season going right down to the wire when Verstappen sealed the championship in the last lap of the calendar.

With the new Formula 1 2022 season, also comes new regulations that will hopefully make the sport smoother and more exciting than in previous years. Whilst the engines will be the same as last seasons’, the cars will look slightly different. All these changes can be seen right here.
