Australian Open on TV and Stream
The Australian Open is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments on the ATP calendar and is held annually at Melbourne Park in Melbourne. The tournament, which takes place in January, is thus the first tennis Grand Slam of each year. It is played on hard court. The Australian Open 2022 was the 110th edition of the event, and was won by Rafael Nadal (men) and Ashleigh Barty (women). The latter of whom became the first local to win the Australian Open singles since 1978!
The Australian Open final was held on January 30 at Rod Laver Arena, which has a seating capacity of 14,820. However, the number of tickets sold for the finals was capped at 80% due to the current coronavirus pandemic, as well as the spread of the Omicron variant.

No British player has ever won an Australian Open final. Andy Murray made it to five finals (2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016), but has lost them all (4 times against Djokovic, 1 time against Federer). The record winner in the men's singles is Novak Djokovic with 8 titles. In the women's category, Serena Williams won a total of 7 times.
