Bundesliga returns to action

10 under-the-radar Bundesliga stars who the Premier League could snap up this Summer

With the Bundesliga season coming to an end last week and with Bayern Munich lifting the title once again, attention will soon start shifting on upcoming transfer market specifically some Bundesliga stars ahead of the new season.

We provide you a closer look at ten hidden gems from Germany to look out for, who have a quality to be potential targets for some if not most of the Premier League’s teams.

  1. Maximillian Arnold – VfL Wolfsburg

Hype around the 25-year-old has become a norm in the last couple of years, as Wolfsburg maestro continues to show why he is demand. Arnold is a classy midfielder, and we feel he would definitely make the grade in England.

  1. Angelino – RB Leipzig

Technically still a Manchester City player – The Spanish defender has made a huge impression at the Bundesliga club after his January switch on loan. He has shined when given an opportunity to play, and has done so most notably in his team’s 3-0 Champions League demolition of Spurs.

  1. Theodore Gebre Selassie – Werder Bremen

With plenty of experience for both club and country, the 32-year-old is a highly offensive defender, capable of playing across the back line. He could be a solid rotation option for a host of teams fighting to break the top 6 in England.

  1. Armel Bella-Kotchap â€“ VfL Bochum

Currently playing in Bundesliga 2 and just 18 years old, Kotchap is a player with a promising future ahead of him. The young defender is said to be watched on by Sheffield United, and a move to England in the near future could come as no surprise.

  1. Josh Sargent – Werder Bremen

He was given his debut for his country at just 17, and the United States forward would be a welcome addition for any Premier League side looking to move forward.

  1. Weston McKennie â€“ Schalke 04

Another young and exciting player from the States. An aggressive box-to-box midfielder boasting outstanding stamina and great tackling ability.

  1. Robin Koch – SC Freiburg

The Germany international defender has slipped under the radar of late, but has recently suggested he would be willing to try a new experience possibly abroad. He would likely cost in the region of 20 million Euros and we can’t exclude the Premier League as a possible option.

  1. Christopher Trimmel â€“ FC Union Berlin

The experienced Austrian is in the twilight of his career and has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga this season thanks to his second to none set piece delivery. A good back up option for many teams in England.

  1. Robin Quaison â€“ Mainz 05

The striker has 13 goals to his name in the 2019/2020 season, including spectacular hat-tricks against Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin respectively. Quick on his feet, excellent at dribbling, the former Palermo player can play in central attacking midfield or off the flanks and is known for scoring goals from outside the box.

  1. Oliver Baumann – TSG Hoffenheim

The Bundesliga shot-stopper will see his contract expire at the end of the season, and at the age of 29, he could well be preparing for one last contract and potentially a new challenge away from Germany.
